Definitely good for Simi Valley since it was an administrative error that put them in D1 in the first place. That will likely lead to a very interesting showdown between the Simi girls and the perennial powerhouse that is the Saugus girls. Camarillo, Loyola, and Valencia of Placentia have all had successful boys programs in the recent past and will be interesting to see how they stack up against the D1 schools.

All I know for sure is that it will be a great season, full of fast times and exciting finishes. As always, an all-out battle for Fresno!
