The 19-year-old East Northport resident, who has autism, became one of the nation’s top prep runners during his time at Northport High School and has continued to make a name for himself after graduating in June. “Mikey Brannigan can run a mile in almost 4 minutes flat. But it’s his spirit, not his speed, that makes him unforgettable.”
